What we are looking for is a Pantry Cook who can join our kitchen staff and be in-charge of cold food items on our menu.

The responsibilities of a Pantry Cook involve preparing various hors d’oeuvres, proper seasoning of all appetizers ahead of serving and storing food items, as needed. In order to be successful, you should be familiar with personal and food hygiene, handle the kitchen’s fast-paced working environment, and be available to work during evenings and weekends.

Finally, you will contribute to delivering a pleasant dining experience for our guests.

What will you give

Sterilizing all the kitchen equipment at the end of your shift
Making cold appetizers, including salads, bruschettas, vegetable and meat roll-ups
Preparing dips, vinaigrettes, and herb-infused oils
Recommending modern recipes to revitalise our menu
Adding nutritious, creative cold dishes to the menu
Monitoring stock and place orders, as needed
Performing meal-prep activities before the guests arrive like chopping vegetables, chopping fish and meat, and washing fruits
Garnishing dishes with spices, nuts, fruits and vegetables
Maintaining a clean station at all times
Storing ingredients to keep them fresh and reduce food wastage
Checking food plating, temperature and portions for all cold dishes

Work experience as a Pantry Cook, Prep Cook or any related role is necessary
Hands-on experience with professional kitchen equipment is necessary for expertise and safety
